About USAASC
The U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center (USAASC) oversees the Army Acquisition Workforce and supports program executive offices with resource management, human resources, and acquisition information management. A Direct Reporting Unit (DRU) under the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology, USAASC enhances Army readiness by providing personnel and resource support to program executive officers and managers who drive combat capability improvements. The USAASC Director also serves as the Director of Acquisition Career Management (DACM), ensuring a highly skilled and adaptable workforce in compliance with the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act. Through engagement with military and civilian personnel, as well as industry and public stakeholders, USAASC fosters workforce development via training, digital media, and various communication platforms.
TMGL’s Support
TMGL’s contract encompasses a comprehensive suite of services to support USAASC’s communications and outreach initiatives. This includes strategic communication planning, execution, and evaluation; editorial and design support; website and digital media management; multimedia production; event coordination; and the development of graphic elements. With the government’s support, TMGL contractors proactively integrate proven strategies and innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of USAASC communications while optimizing mission performance.

Origin:
Established in December 1960 as Army Research & Development, Army AL&T magazine was created by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (OASA(ALT)) and the Army Acquisition Executive (AAE) to support the ASA(ALT) mission through the dissemination of critical information. Today, it remains the premier publication for the Army acquisition, logistics, and technology community and the only professional journal primarily authored by the Army Acquisition Workforce.
