Phil Bower – President, TMGL
Phil Bower, a retired U.S. Navy Captain, is a seasoned senior executive with decades of leadership experience in the Federal and Defense industries. Throughout his distinguished military career, he held key positions, including Chief of Staff for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Engineering Organization, Commanding Officer of a Navy fighter squadron, and a pivotal role in developing test laboratories for the Joint Interoperability Test Command. He is a graduate of the Naval War College and holds dual Master of Science degrees in International Relations and Information Systems Management.
As a business leader, Mr. Bower has successfully managed business units exceeding $100 million and spearheaded the development of new business areas across multiple disciplines, including physical security, border security, microwave communications, coastal surveillance systems, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) solutions. His international experience includes leading a team of engineers in Western Africa to develop a coastal surveillance system.
Mr. Bower is adept at overseeing large-scale contracts and managing geographically dispersed workforces. His expertise in integrating cutting-edge technologies with complex construction requirements enables the delivery of fully operational, turn-key systems. His extensive background and strategic leadership position TMGL for success in critical markets.
